Nursery / Reception staff will work together to ensure that they deliver a balanced curriculum which is consistent with the Early Learning Goals of the Foundation Stage.
Reception children will be involved in three termly topics:
Ourselves, eggs and adventure. These topics recognise the specific needs of early years children, just entering school. They help children to prepare for and work towards the requirements of Key stage 1 of the National Curriculum, which begins when children enter Year 1.
